As a result of Maricopa’s booming housing development, it’s projected that the District will need to accommodate nearly 1,400 new students by Fall 2022. In 2018, the School Facilities Board approved approximately $41.4M for a second high school in the District. CHASSE, Orcutt | Winslow, and FMG have been collaborating extensively to ensure the District’s goals for flexibility, quality, and future campus growth are met. Together our team designed a facility that achieves the District’s budget and maintained facility standards including, block exterior facades, natural lighting, LED lighting, interior cafeteria spaces, a fully functioning gymnasium with wood floors, flexible classroom spaces, and more! Also, special attention was taken to masterplan future growth such as a football stadium and running track. Located at Murphy and Farrell Roads, the new school is expected to open July 2022!

Can I visit the school while it’s under construction?
Safety is CHASSE’s #1 priority. For this reason, we can’t bring unauthorized community members onto our active construction site. We will do our best to provide community members with opportunities to be involved in construction by hosting events, sharing information & photos on this site, offering community days and more. Please stay tuned for more information on these events!
How will construction affect my neighborhood?
